Riverfest Photo Shoot

Monroe Community Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan had their annual Riverfest in July of 2008. We celebrated the Arts one week, which included a photo "booth" for families to visit for free. It was a lot of fun!

My good friend Steve got married in May of 2008 and he and his incredible bride asked me to shoot their wedding. I was so honoured to be part of their day and had an incredible time with this amazing couple. They were so happy and it was so easy to capture good shots of them because the love was so evident on their faces.

On December 30th, 2007 my husband Dan and I welcomed our first child into the world, Oaklyn Maria. Of course she has had thousands of pictures taken of her, and here is the first mini-shoot I did of her on the day we came home from the hospital when she was two days old.
